J-Men

Prof. Javier Carlos’s trained team of adepts and mages, whom he was trying to train to become mystic adepts, based on his belief that the manifestation of various magical abilities is a phenomenon of and directed by the (meta) human mind. The J stands for Jovens (youth) and this team of youths, though promising, was destroyed by Tyrell Corporation. Professor Carlos knows several of the team members to have been killed, though he still holds out hope that the one team member unaccounted for, Green Jay, has somehow survived. The team members and their powers and magical styles were:

Red Hulk jr.-superior strength and damage immunity, deceased
Icehaus-ability to freeze targets at a distance, deceased
Panopticop-concussive beam attacks, deceased
Fly Bywyr-personal levitation and superior speed, deceased
Green Jay-mental control, telekinesis, and mental attacks, status unknown
ShenXorn Magnotto-healing that is not at all based on control of magnetism

More recently, during the attack on Tyrell Seattle Troop Dispatch Center Prof. Carlos witnessed what appeared to be the astral forms of Red Hulk Jr and Fly Bywyr, who defended him against attack from Tyrell’s forces, and helped get him to safety while destroying Tyrell’s data stores. Prof. Carlos now believes himself to be haunted by the spirits of his J-Men
